Welcome to The UConn Panhellenic Council
All About Us

From Our President
Welcome to the official website of the University of Connecticut’s Panhellenic Council!
Hi! My name is Emily Cochefski, and I am currently serving as the President of UConn’s Panhellenic Council. On behalf of the executive board and the Panhellenic community, I want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about the 1,100 ambitious women that contribute to our council.
The Panhellenic Council at UConn is the largest women’s organization on campus, with 9 Panhellenic sororities. We are an umbrella organization that consistently aims to unify, support, inspire, and empower women. Through our four pillars of scholarship, leadership, philanthropy, and sisterhood, we strive to make an impact on the fraternity and sorority community as well as UConn at large.
Joining the UConn Panhellenic community has been one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences of my life. I can say without any doubt that the Panhellenic community has given me endless opportunities to grow, connected me with amazing women in every chapter, and made UConn feel like home.
Being a UConn Panhellenic woman means always striving to be a better version of myself with the support of over a thousand women by my side. I would not be the person that I am today without the UConn Panhellenic Council, and I hope that every member and friend of our community can say the same.
Thank you again for your interest in our organization and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of the other women on our Executive Board.
Panhellenically,
Emily Cochefski
