Our bylaws outline UCPC'ss structure and rules established by our executive board with guidance from the National Panhellenic Council, the University of Connecticut, and our community. These bylaws exist to govern, regulate, and hold our council accountable by providing us with a higher authority. These bylaws may be amended at any regular or special meeting of the UConn Panhellenic Council by a two-thirds vote, provided that the proposed amendment has been announced and submitted in writing at the previous regular meeting allowing an opportunity for chapter input. Voting takes place no sooner than two weeks after announcing amendments.
We, as members of the University of Connecticut Panhellenic Council, agree to promote honesty, respect, sisterhood, and cooperation within the College Panhellenic and our respective chapters and in our daily lives. This code of ethics is designed to inspire our members, reinforce exemplary conduct and values-based leadership and perpetuate lifelong membership to enrich the sorority and Panhellenic experience.
This document contains the commitments that the Panhellenic Executive Board will implement covering topics such as, but not limited to, recruitment, finances, service & philanthropy, social media, and cross-council relations. These commitments began with the executive board in 2019 and are being continued by the 2020 board, as well as every executive board moving forward. Each term's board will outline plans throughout their term in order to make a long-lasting impact on the UConn Panhellenic Council.
UCPC offers this scholarship to partially cover chapter dues for a member who is in extreme financial need due to unexpected circumstances. We believe in fostering sisterhood through helping others in times of need. All information will be completely confidential.
Fall 2021 submissions will be accepted until Friday, September 24th, 2021 at midnight.
